Movement forward in Washington State

The House and Senate of Washington state have finally passed legislation allowing gays and lesbians to have the freedom to live anyplace they want to, work anyplace they want to, and eat anywhere they want to without the fear of having their application rejection because of hate, fired, or kicked out of a cafe for being gay.  It is hard to believe that this was not the case just a couple of days ago.  I hope it lasts.  Those who hate gays/lesbians are already talking about a referendum.  What is it going to say?  Please discriminate based on hate against gays and lesbians?  It won’t say that openly, but that’s what it will mean.  Anyway, it is a time to celebrate and deal with future legislation if it comes up.
