The Military and discrimination

Since the Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell policy was put into place by Clinton, thousands of good people have been thrown out of the military just for being who they are.  Of course the military has a long history of discrimination against all kinds of people, especially black people.  Gays and lesbians are getting the same type of treatment and barely anyone is doing anything about it.
I certainly do not want to serve in a discriminatory military.  And they wouldn’t dare ask me since after Clinton since that ‘policy’ I sent him a one page note with the biggest type-font I could fit on a page that said:  "under no circumstances will I be enlisted in the military because I am gay."  I’m sure that letter is somewhere in my file and I still mean it.  There is an article in 365Gay.com about three people who have been arrested for silently protesting against this treatment.

No one has been able to give a justification for banning gays and lesbians from serving their country.  Just as no one has been able to justify not allowing gays and lesbians from getting married.  Not a single person.  Sure, there is a lot of religious mumbo-jumbo, but we don’t need to get into that further.  You have to wonder how many attacks against people across the world have happened because this discriminatory government fired all those gays and lesbians in the military who were translators.

One Response to The Military and discrimination

But "god" says that having sex with babies is contagious!
it\’s sad to think that at the time, Don\’t Ask, Don\’t Tell was an improvement.
