When It Rains, It Really Pours

I’m currently teaching a course on Race, Ethnicity and Immigration in U.S. History at a local college.  I’m pretty happy with the way it is going so far.  Today was Day 2.  A couple of weeks ago I had an interview to teach a course, Western Civilization II at another college, and I received a call from the Dean yesterday on my cell.  I had called him back and while I was waiting for him to call me back, the head of the History Dept. at California State University EastBay called me and wanted to know if I would like to teach their World Civilization I course that starts at the end of September.  As far as I know, I will be doing my online Decline and Fall of Rome course, which won’t start until the end of November (Term 1 in Australia).  If the CSU EastBay teaching comes through, it is going to be a very, very busy term!  Lucking for the CSU course I’ve taught on all the ancient civilizations except for China and India.  But one of my friends teaches at Cal State Fullerton, in Chinese History, so he will be a good source of information if I need anything extra.
