So Sarah Palin Said “Thanks, but No Thanks” to the Bridge to Nowhere?

To all of us that watched Sarah Palin stand up and tell the entire country that she said "Thanks but no thanks" to the Bridge to Nowhere, take a look at what Palin really had to say.  How anyone has the guts to stand up and tell lies to the entire country is beyond me…And how anyone could support someone who gets up and lies to the entire country is beyond me as well.

All politicians tell lies to the country. It goes with the job.
But the idea of a "Bridge to Nowhere" sounds kinda romantic, don\’tcha think?

"Come take my hand we\’ll go there
Beyond the rainbow and the stars
Where time and tlmelessness meet in love
    The endless Bridge to Nowhere"

—just a  thought—I suck at verse

    Hey Cass,
I know that all politicians lie.  The problem here is that although everyone knows she lied, she keeps lying about it!
    Nice poem too!  🙂

Well, why shouldn\’t she—it worked for Bush, didn\’t it? It has been estimated that 80% of those serving in Iraq still believe Iraq had something to do with the attack on 9/11. I don\’t know if it is the poor quality of Public Education in America in the early 21st Century or what it is but people tend to believe the last thing they hear—even when they know the truth is the opposite. It is very strange.
