Here is another video. I could feel myself starting to cry when I listened to it (especially after seeing that woman yesterday whipping up hate in her chldren). I just can’t believe that any person with any amount of self-dignity would vote for Prop. 8. I also just can’t believe that any American would vote against another group. But then again, our history is chuck full of one group trying to force other groups out.

So…you\’re saying you want people to vote "No" on 8—is that right?
Hi Cass,
Yes, people need to vote NO on 8. The wording of Prop. 8 says that it will eliminate the right of gays and lesbians to marry and make marriage a man and a woman.
Well, having checked the latest poll results from KPIX SF, which show a surprising shift: According to the poll, likely California voters now favor passage of Prop 8 by a five-point margin, 47 percent to 42 percent, following a recent blitz of advertising by supporters of the initiative. Meanwhile, an internal poll just released by the "No on 8" campaign confirms the KPIX poll numbers, showing Prop 8 winning 47%-43% I\’d advise my brothers and sisters out in California to get motivated–remember voters are heavily influenced by the last thing they see and hear—make sure it\’s a "No on 8" ad!!!
Hi Cass,
What a way to ruin my day! 🙂 No, I haven\’t seen the new polls yet. I find it hard to believe that 54% of Californians, just a couple of weeks ago, were against Prop. 8 and now that has dropped to 42%.
Well, I just sent away for my marriage license. I figure if they cancel my marriage, then at least I will have a piece of paper to say that I was once married. I wonder–will I technically be divorced? Or just cancelled out? My guess is that nothing will happen to my marriage. Nothing at all.
Hi Cass,
I was wondering if you could send me the link to the KPIX poll. I\’ve looked for it but can\’t find it.
