I see on the Gay Christian Ministry Watch DL Foster has been chosen as one of the "10 Emerging Voices of the African American Church":
In its February 2008 special Black History Month issue, Charisma Magazine will be featuring "10 Emerging Voices of the African American Church". Incredibly, I was selected as one of those voices. I will be writing an article about the state of the black church and homosexuality.
I went to the website of this Charisma Magazine, and big surprise–there was an article on those nasty homosexuals, but it was not written by DL Foster, but someone named Kimberly Daniels. It may not have been written by Foster, but their messages are the same.
Apparently this Kimberly Daniels is referred to as an apostle, at least according to her own website (wow, what an ego to go along with everything else!). She has some interesting ideas, including trying to get people to pray at certain times of the day:
Your assignment is to pray at least one hour between the hours of 3:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. If your day makes this impossible and you are up late, pray at 1:00 a.m. (Only if feasible). The prayer assignment is to create an environment in the heavens before the sun rises conducive to the agenda of the Kingdom of Heaven. According to scripture, at sunrise the ordinances of the day will be released as it has been programmed through prayer. We will deprogram all the agendas of darkness before the break of daw

Besides trying to ‘create’ a conducive environment in the heavens in the early morning, she is also involved in writing against homosexuals.
Here is a bit of what the straight Daniels has to say in her article called "Gay Deception":
A few years ago I had a dream in which I saw Christian people watching a group of men singing on a platform. The people in the church seemed to be spellbound. They were so mesmerized by the musical talents of these men that they didn’t realize evil spirits were controlling the performers.
…I have recently learned that leaders of major Christian ministries openly condone same-sex marriages and yet their pews remain packed. Meanwhile some mainline denominations are ordaining active homosexuals as bishops.
What is happening to us? The church has been mesmerized!
The voice in my dream called out and said: "These are punks!" (In some circles the term "punk" refers to an effeminate man.) The problem in the church today is that we fear offending people. But if we are going to deal with this demon we will have to offend.
Before I became a Christian I had a lot of homosexual friends. I was not gay but I loved these guys. They were my baby sitters, neighbors and friends. My dad had bars in the city where he staged what we called "sissy shows"–which were platforms for female impersonators.
I loved these performers and referred to them affectionately as "my sissies." The term "sissy" may be offensive to some people, but according to the dictionary it is another word for an effeminate man.
Has anybody out there noticed that there are some effeminate men in the church? Some of them are on the platform, singing and receiving applause. And while some of them are infiltrating the church with a gay agenda, others are yearning to be free from sexual bondage–yet no one is offering them deliverance.
It is time to confront the issue!
First Corinthians 6:9 says an effeminate man will not inherit the Kingdom of God. I have a relative who is a male prostitute and a street junkie. I am praying for his deliverance from drugs and homosexuality. But I am also praying that my brothers and sisters who sit in church pews every Sunday (and who preach from pulpits) will be delivered first.
It is time for the line to be drawn so that we can know where everybody stands. It is time for the sissies to get off the church stage.
A real man or woman of God could not be content living a gay lifestyle. They definitely would not support same-sex marriages or perform them.
The demon behind the homosexual agenda is cloaked by a religious spirit. Many church leaders today who lack discernment have opened their churches to the influence of familiar spirits operating in talented people–some of whom are quite popular today. But we cannot let fear or intimidation stop us from preaching the truth.
The Bible is clear. Romans 1:26 says homosexual perversion comes up against the "course of nature." The word "nature" in the Greek is phusis, and it implies an attack on the original plan of God.
The homosexual spirit is an antichrist spirit. In fact some people believe the Antichrist will be gay because Daniel 11:37 says he will "show no regard … for the desire of women."
It is time for an official altar call. Let’s tell it like it is. Let’s trumpet the truth that Jesus can heal the homosexual.
Didn’t I say that Daniels has the same message as Foster? Both are pretty good at demonizing gays and lesbians. Look at her language (the bolded comments are my own):
- evil spirits were controlling the performers
- But if we are going to deal with this demon we will have to offend
- Has anybody out there noticed that there are some effeminate men in the church (maybe someone should inform Daniels that not all ‘effeminate men’ are homosexuals…)
- It is time for the sissies to get off the church stage (meaning gay men)
- A real man or woman of God could not be content living a gay lifestyle (meaning gay men and lesbians are not real men or real women)
- The demon behind the homosexual agenda is cloaked by a religious spirit
- Many church leaders today who lack discernment have opened their churches to the influence of familiar spirits operating in talented people
- The homosexual spirit is an antichrist spirit
And this is the worst of all:
"In fact some people believe the Antichrist will be gay because Daniel 11:37 says he will "show no regard … for the desire of women""
Now my Bible says "He shall pay no respect to the gods of his ancestors, or to the one beloved by women." Here is how other Bibles have translated this verse:
Da 11:37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all. AV

It is totally possible that a man can show no regards for the desire of women and still be a heterosexual. He shall not regard the desire of women means that he isn’t interested in women who desire him–not that he is a homosexual. My god, look at the history of Christianity–there are many, many men who gave up the desire of women to seek God. Ms. Daniels has shown her great ignorance for the religion that she professes and shows her clear biases against gays and lesbians.
Besides this, there are two problems here. Ms. Daniels seems to imply that the Antichrist will pay no respect to the gods of his ancestors. For one thing: who would be the ancestors of the Antichrist? And another–who would be the gods of the Antichrist? Ms. Daniels needs a basic course in understanding the Bible. She is good at eisogesis (meaning she puts her own meaning into it) instead of exogesis. If she had a decent Bible, it would have told her to look at Ezek. 8:14: "Then he brought me to the entrance of the north gate of the house of the Lord; women were sitting there weeping for Tammuz." Tammuz was a Mesopotamian deity–this is the god that is referred to in Daniel 11:37 who was beloved by women. Besides, the passage in Daniel is not referring to the Anti Christ, but about Antiochus.
So instead of actually reading the Bible and trying to understand it, this Ms. Daniels has gone ahead and claimed that the Antichrist will be gay, all because she can’t read or understand the Bible. This is demonizing gays and lesbians at its best.
And it is no wonder that DL Foster would be asked to write something for this rag. Both Daniels and Foster deserve each other.
